Animal Crossing Book Tag
Animal crossing is such a good game, it definitely came out at the perfect time last year. It was great going outside and talking to people without actually going outside.
Past Villager – Who is a character you found when you were younger that still has a place in your heart?
This is actually a really hard question and I’m struggling to think of anyone in a book that I read when I was younger. I could probably say Bell from beauty and the beast as it’s my favourite princess but that’s from a Disney film not a book.
Blather’s Blatherings – Recommend a historical fiction book that you think everybody should read
I haven’t read many historical fiction but it is definitely a genre I want to read more of, that being said the answer to this one is pretty easy and that’s
Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys
It’s a young adult historical fiction so all the main cast are around 18 or so but you can’t really tell in the story. It’s not very long with just 378 pages long and all the chapters are only around 4 or less pages long.
the reason I’m recommending this book is because it’s about a war time event that not many people have hard about which is the sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff on January 30, 1945, which was the deadliest disaster in maritime history, the losses estimate at nine thousand which is far more then the famous Titanic.
There are four main Prospectives in this book they are Joana, Florian, Emilia and Alfred but you meet many others as well who will still your heart.
I couldn’t stop thinking about this book for months after finishing it, it’s very well written with characters that have a lot of depth, and there are more then one part that will have your heart in your throat. I was a bit worried that would struggle to read the part when the Gustloff is sinking but it was very clearly done as it is shone through four different people it goes by very quickly.
Celeste’s Wish – What is a future book release you wish you could read now?
I don’t think there is any books that are coming out that I’m excited about to my nolage anyway I think all the books I wanted came out at the end of last year or the beginning of this year.
Timmy & Tommy – What is your favourite sibling relationship in a book?
Fred and George Wiasley from Harry Potter
There wasn’t really any other siblings I could go with other then this two not only are they the funniest characters in the books/films but there also amazing brothers and I think they would do anything for each other.
The Easter Bunny – A popular book character that you’re not a big fan of
The only character I can think of is Edward Cullen from Twilight
I was always team Jacob when watching the films I found Edward creepy and cold (I always felt like I would prefer I worm hug from Jacob then a ice cold one from Edward) but reading the books I do see why Bella liked him.
Nook’s Loans – An author you’d give all your money to
This is between JK Rowling and Cassandra Clear
JK because I’m getting my own copy’s of the books even though my parents have them just so I have my own set and I think I would probably get any book by her. My family and I also went to see all the films in cinema and then got them on dvd and blue-ray. I’ve brought Harry Potter merchandise and I have been to the making of twice and would like to go again also I really want to go to the parks, and then of course there is the new wizarding stuff the cursed child and fantastic beasts and where to find them.
cassandra doesn’t have as much in the why of films and merch but there are a lot of books in the shadow Hunter world (20 to be expected) and she is still releasing more and I think I have only picked up one of her books Second head so that’s a lot of money. Also if there was merch and films and stage shows I would go and spend all my money.
The Sisters Able – What is your favourite fictional family (found or otherwise)?
The blackthorns from Cassandra Clears dark artefacts.
There not a prefect family in any why but Julian try’s his best to keep them all safe and he has had to grow up very fast to keep them all together. I adore each and every one of this family and I just want them to be safe and happy (which probably will not happen because there in a book written by Cassandra Clear), my favourite Blackthorn is Ty as I relate to him the most.
It’s a C+ – What is a book trope you don’t like that keeps popping up?
the fake relationship trope
every time in a book where the girl or guy needs to make someone jealous or family off there back they find there best friend or someone they dislike to Pretend to be in a relationship with them and it’s so obvious from the get go that they will full in love. It’s just very obvious what will happen.
The Wandering Camel – What is your favourite book set in a land far away from yours?
Before the coffee gets cold
it’s definitely set in a land far away from me as it takes place in Japan which is a place I would really like to go to one day.
the story if you are interested is a very different concept which is the reason I ended up picking it up, in this cafe there is a seat if you set there and drink some coffee you will be taken though time but there are rules the main one being you need to finish drinking the coffee and return to the present before your coffee gets cold!
I really enjoyed reading this book it has four short stories which are each sadder then the last the characters you meet are lovely and I really felt for each of them and what they are going though hence I got quite emotional especially in the last story.
What Would Dodos Do? – A fictional land you wish you could fly away to at any moment?
It’s not organly a book in fact it’s a podcast but they have made it a grafic novel so I’m counting it. The world of the first adventure zone arc. There are a lot of towns I could go to and live a lovely life I could also join Takkos magic school and try to learn magic.
and that is the animal crossing book tag I hope you enjoyed reading it has much as I enjoyed making it.
all art is my own
